Species Description - Plants 0.5-1.2 mm wide, dull grayish to olive-green, creeping. Leaf lobes widely spreading, ovate to asymmetrically ovate, ± convex, apex broadly rounded, margins entire or sinuate. Cells in midlobe 20-35 µm long, plane, papilla lacking or lenticular, trigones medium sized or large, intermediate thickenings rare, oil bodies 2-3 per cell, sausage-shaped, coarsely granular. Lobules ca. 1/3 of leaf length, ball shaped sometimes reduced, the free margin strongly inrolled. Under leaves bifid to 1/3-1/2 of length, large, 1.5-2 times stem width, distant, suborbicular, bases ± cuneate to rounded, insertion line shallowly curved. Dioicous. Gynoecia without innovations.
