Species Description - Plants medium-sized, 3-5 cm tall, often in extensive cushions. Leaves flexuose-spreading, pale green, ovate-lanceolate from an ovate to oblong base, 5-8 x 0.5-0.8 mm; margins incurved, entire or sparsely serrulate at extreme apex; costa in cross-section with 3-4 layers of leucocysts on each side of a single layer of chlorocysts at leaf base, in median region with a single layer of leucocysts on each side of a single layer of chlorocysts; lamina well developed, of 6-12 rows of cells, long-rectangular to linear above, quadrate to short-rectangular at base. Sporophytes not seen.

In humid montane forest atop Mont Galbao, rare, ca. 700 m, on rotten log.
