Description - Plant stemless (?), flowering 55-80 cm high. Leaves incompletely known; blades probably deciduous, linear, attenuate, slightly contracted at base, to 46 cm long, 9 mm wide, entire, glabrous above, densely floccose beneath. Scape straight, 6 mm in diameter, white-floccose; scape-bracts erect, ovate, entire, the lowest densely imbricate with large foliaceous blades, the upper small, slightly exceeding the internodes and exposing the scape. Inflorescence simple, lax, 15 cm long, densely vestite with white or sordid scales. Floral bracts erect, broadly ovate, acute, about equaling the pedicels; flowers secund-spreading; pedicels slender, to 2 cm long. Sepals elliptic, acute, 3 cm long, ecarinate, prominently nerved; petals broadly acute, over 9 cm long, white (?), naked, sparsely floccose at apex; stamens included; ovary 3/5 superior; ovules caudate.
