Discussion
A riverine tree widely distributed in northern South America. Although apparently poorly represented in Guiana as a whole, it was found to occur frequently on both the Rios Oiapoque and Araguari. An earlier collection, Froes 26682, established the presence of this species on the Rio Oiapoque.
