Discussion
Frequently collected at lower elevations in Guayana and upper Amazonia, more sparingly in Suriname (Gonggrijp 2280; Gonggrijp & Stahel 2948) and Para (Black, Froes, ir LeDoux 50-9850). The two cited collections extend the range of this variety to the extremities of Guiana. Both are first reports for the respective territories.
