Roraima, ascent of ledge along southwest-facing side, 2100-2255 m alt., epiphyte on branch in rich wet woods, stems flattened, leaves subcoriaceous, grass green above and paler beneath, sepals and petals creamy greenish white, lip cream-white with orange-yellow at base within, September 27, 1944, J. Steyermark 58728 (flower poor); Ptari-tepui, common on densely forested steep south-facing slopes overlying sandstone, between "Cave Rock" and base of high sandstone bluffs, 2100-2285 m alt., stems pendent from the lower part or base of tree trunk, leaves firmly membranaceous, pale grass green above and paler beneath, flower throughout pale buff-yellow, fruit olive green, October 30, 1944, Steyermark 59555.
