    Species Description - Tree to 40 m. tall, very similar to var. comosa but differing in having 7-13-foliolate leaves; upper surfaces of leaflets distinctly appressed-puberulent; petioles up to 6 cm. long; sepals usually ovate-triangular and shorter (about 2 mm. long); filaments longer (3.5-4 cm. long); style longer (4-5 cm. long); stipe of the ovary longer (7-10 mm. long).
