Discussion
The cited plant appears to represent an undescribed species, but unfortunately the corollas described in the field notes are not now with the unicate specimen. Its relationship is with the species of Cavendishia with an elongate calyx-limb and callose-thickened lobes (see sp. 5-9 in my key in Contr. U. So Nat. Herb. 28: 463. 1932).
