Thirty fragments, 1.45-1.56 m , similar under the dissecting microscope to branch and stem fragments of Drepanocladus, but the characteristic long filamentous rhizoids were visible upon dissection. The narrow, long acuminate leaves of the fossil suggest var. falcatum (Brid.) Monk. Fig. 4a-c.
