Species Description - Stem leaves 0.5-1 x 0.2-0.3 mm; upper median cells 25-55 x 4-6 µm; basal cells 10-27 x 6-16 µm; alar cells 7-15 x 6-11 µm. Perichaetial bracts up to 1 mm long. Setae 8-16 mm long; capsules 0.9-1.9 x 0.7-1.3 mm ; operculum up to 1 mm long. Spores 10-17 µm.
