Species Description - Stems and branches loosely fohate; branches often curved when dry; paraphyllia few to abundant on stems, ending in a sharply pointed cell. Stem leaves erect when dry, 0.6-0.8 mm long, broadly ovate, abruptly long-acuminate, the base decidedly shorter than the acumen; margins plane or erect, serrulate above, often strongly so; costa ending in and filling the acumen; cells short-rectangular to oval, unipapillose owing to projecting upper cell ends. Branch leaves erect, 0.3-0.5 mm long, lanceolate, acuminate. Setae 12-18 mm long; capsules 1.5-2 mm long; operculum high-conic; cilia of endostome nodulose, in groups of 1-2.
