Genus Description - Caespitose epiphytes with small ovoid to cylindric pseudobulbs concealed by persistent leaf bases. Leaves several per pseudobulb, conduplicate. Inflorescences terminal racemes or panicles. Flowers numerous, small, not resupinate; sepals subequal, the dorsal sepal free, the lateral sepals larger than dorsal one, connate basally; petals much smaller than sepals, usually linear; lip simple or 3-lobed, with a conspicuous callus, often with farinaceous cells; column short, with prominent foot; pollinia 4, in 2 pairs.
