    Genus Description - Acaulescent, rosulate terrestrials with fasciculate, fleshy roots. Leaves petiolate to sessile. Inflorescences erect, longpedunculate racemes. Flowers white, yellow, or green; dorsal sepal concave, forming hood with petals, the lateral sepals usually forward-projecting, decurrent on column foot, basally connate to form a saccate vesicle; petals connivent with dorsal sepal; lip clawed, sagittate at base; column stout, puberulent in front; pollinia 2, granular.
