Species Description - Rhizomes erect, branched numerous times, covered by linear, reddish-brown scales 2-3 mm long, the apex filiform. Fronds soft, pendent, 12-50 cm long; petiole 1-5 cm long, the midrib scarcely visible.
Distribution and Ecology - Very rare, in forest understory at middle altitudes
