    Genus Description - Plants terrestrial, generally of small stature. Rhizomes short-creeping or ascending, covered with numerous hairs. Fronds generally clustered, simple or dichotomously branched; veins free. Fertile segments in pinnate or pseudodigitate groups at apex of fronds. Sporangia in rows on each side of midrib; indusium absent.
