Genus Description - Plants epiphytic. Rhizomes erect to short-creeping, covered with scales at apex. Fronds erect, glabrous or pubescent, monomorphic, with or without petiole; blade simple, entire (outside our flora), furcate, or lobed to pinnatifid; veins simple or furcate, free or reticulate. Sori round to oval, inserted on ultimate segments.
