    Genus Description - Rhizomes creeping, branched, covered with hairs. Fronds petiolate, pinnatifid or pinnate, generally pseudodichotomous by abortion of a series of terminal buds; veins of ultimate segments free, simple or 1-5-forked. Sori with 8-15 or more sporangia, without indusium, without paraphyses.
