Species Description - Plants terrestrial. Rhizomes erect, robust, with scales at apex. Fronds climbing, with indefinite growth, bipinnate; petiole beige to pale brown, canaliculate, the rachis twining; pinnae alternate or opposite, with 3 or 4 pinnules on each side, a terminal pinnule present, 40 X 20 cm, the pinnules elliptic, long-acuminate, the margins entire, undulate, 15-20 X 3-4 cm, the petiolule 0-10 mm long; veins parallel, simple or branched at base. Sori linear, along midrib. Rare, in lowland forest along streams. Some authors place this species in Salpichlaena.
