Species Description - Plants epiphytic. Rhizomes thick, with brown tomentose roots and dark brown, linear scales 5-12 mm long. Fronds simple, sessile, numerous; blade oblanceolate, long-attenuate at base, attenuate at apex, 20-70 X 4-15 cm, the margin entire; veins simple to 1-branched. Sori elongate, medial. Very common, on understory trees.
