Species Description - Plants terrestrial. Main stems erect. Plants pale green on upper surface, silver on lower surface. Stems creeping, ± quadrangular, greenish, 2 mm diam., with rhizophores. Ramifications alternate. Lateral leaves lanceolate to linear, 3-4 mm long, unequal at base, margins ciliate toward base. Median leaves distinctly carinate, with ciliate margins. Strobilus terminal, not very developed. Common in all kinds of forests.
