    Species Description - Plants terrestrial. Stems ± creeping, with rhizophores, alternately branched, the branches 1.5-2 mm diam. Lateral leaves lanceolate, ± falcate, 4 X 1 mm, unequal at base, with ciliate and dentate margins. Median leaves lanceolate, ciliate. Strobili quadrangular, erect, to 50 X 2 mm wide; sporophylls clearly distinct from leaves. In humid areas in lowland forests.
