Discussion
Type: Huperzia selago (L.) Schrank & Mart. [= Lycopodium selago L.].
Huperzia is a cosmopolitan genus of about 400 species, mostly of the wet tropics in middle to higher elevations and with several temperate species. There are 15 species in Mexico. Huperzia is the largest lycopod genus, related to Lycopodium s.str. and Lycopodiella. We thank Benjamin Øllgaard for comments and suggestions
