Discussion
Pteris intramarginalis Kaulfuss ex Link, Hort. berol. 2: 34. 1833. Cheilanthes intramarginalis (Kaulfuss ex Link) Hooker, Sp. fil. 2: 112. 1852. Pellaea intramarginalis (Kaulfuss ex Link) J. Smith, Cat. ferns Kew 4. 1856. Lectotype (chosen by Hall & Lellinger, 1967: 119). Cultivated specimen labelled “Pteris intramarginalis Klf. . . . Hort. Berol.” (B; isolectotype LE!). This taxon in Oaxaca is divided into two varieties on the basis of elevation and the nature of the indusial margin. The two varieties have not been found growing together.
