 Species Description - Buds glabrous; fronds ca. 6 cm long, glabrous; sterile blades1.5 x 0.8 cm, pinnate; pinnae flabellate, distal margin entire orshallowly crenulate, base to 90º angle, anterior margin straightto slightly convex; leaf tissue herbaceous; sporophores 2 cm long, arising from the common stalk just below the base of the sterile blades and exceeding the sterile blades in height; 2n=180(USA).
