Species Description - Glabrous shrub or tree. Leaves simple, oblanceolate-falcate, long-tapering to base, 7-15 cm, uninerved, the nerve displaced; gland basal, obscure or absent. Flowers in heads 3-4 mm diam, in narrow axillary racemes and (or) terminal compound racemes; peduncles slender. Legume flat, oblong, 5-10 cm long, 6-7 mm wide. Discussion
I have seen several sheets marked as A. jalcata, but have referred most of them to A. pycnantha. The species are contrasted under treatment of the latter (among accepted species).
