Distribution and Ecology - Native, sw and s U.S. to Central America.

  • Discussion

    A. filicoides Hort. A. hirta Hort. I have seen no specimen confirming cultivated status, but continuing horticultural trial of this common native is inevitable. Success on more than a novelty basis is unlikely; it is not one of our handsome acacias. Bailey & Bailey (1941), Hortus III.
