Description
Description: Sporocarps 1-2.5 cm across, ±globose to slightly irregular in outline, dry, subtomentose, white at first, gradually becoming dull red (10B4-10C4, Methuen colors) with handling and exposure. Gleba gelatinous, olive green, with dendroid, cartilaginous/gristle-like columella. Stipe absent, arising directly from copious rhizomorphic strands.
