Sandstone cliffs. Valley with very steep, rocky sandstone sides sloping down to gallery forest, with sedge meadow (brejo) just above forest in places.

Gnarled tree with spreading branches, 1.5 m tall; fruit green with purple spots; inner bark red. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
