Coastal hill forest on ?granite, much disturbed by firewood collection, growing on steep slopes.

Description
Clustering palm. Stems to 3m tall, to 5cm. diam., internodes to 10cm, crownshaft pale green, covered in chocolate-coloured scales. Leaf to 1m; leaflets 4 on each side, very broad, bright green. Sterile. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
