    Slender, clustering palm. Stems to 80cm, c. 4mm diam., dark green, internodes c. 3cm. Leaves marcescent, 9 in crown, sheaths green with scattered brown scales; leaflets c. 7-9, rather irregularly arranged. Inflorescence interfoliar, spicate. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
