Description
Solitary palm to 2m tall; stem c. 2cm diam. At base, 1cm at crownshaft; internodes 3cm near base, 1cm distally, covered in dark brown indumentum, crown of 7 leaves; sheates eu-de-nil green with vertical blotches of red-brown indeumentum. Leaf to 35cm; petiole 5cm; leaflets 2-4 on each side of the riachis, in two groups. Inflorescence infrafoliar, branching to 2 orders; pistillate flowers with pink petals, green ovary. Fruit green with ruminate endosperm. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
