Habitat
Flat, brushy and marshy areas and pasture with Scheelea princeps around drainage channels, surrounded mostly by sugar cane fields.

Description
Vine to 7 m. in trees; stem irregularly flattened and channelled; sap pale, slightly milky. Corolla white, the midribs yellow within, with 5 black marks at base within. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw 48004. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
