Slope 0-30%, aspect E-S. Community: Artemisia tridentata wyomingensis, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Poa sandbergii, Sitanion hystrix; also Astragalus purshii glareosus, A. lentiginosus, Phlox hoodii. Scattered. Soil shallow silt over volcanic pebbles and rocks.

Herb. Corolla lavender, wings of seeds barely 0.1 mm. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
