from the south end of the park at the New York Dr. overpass to
0.4 mile up-canyon (Mount Wilson 7*5’ Q.: 34°10’30"N,
118°05'43"W, ±100m; TIN R12W S12 &13). Alt.:
280-305m/920- 1000ft. Canyon bottom of sand & gravel;
Riversidian coastal sage scrub & chaparral, dominants include
Baccharis salicif., Phacelia dist., Hirschfeldia, Bromus diand.,
Malosma, Acmispon glaber, Artemisia calif., & Toxicodendron d.
Scarce; yellow fls., along trailside.
