Phytogeogr. value: A plant of connection sf the
Mediterranean and Irano-Turanian regions.
Its ecological and phytosociological requirements in Pa-
lestine are rather Mediterranean. Probably it possess different
ecotypes in the Mediter. and in the Irano-Turanian regions. In
Palesine it is widely distributed in the mountain districts both
