Description
Small erect tree; stem 8 inches thick, terete, 20 feet high, branched from the middle; wood white, moderately soft, odorless, tasteless; bark smooth and light gray, with a green hypodermis, dull yellow in the middle, sappy white in or on the inner side; main branches ascending, repeatedly branched towards the top, twigs quite brittle, crooked, descending or ascending towards the top; leaves pendant, conduplicate, dull or dark green on both sides, tips abruptly recurved; pods mostly lateral, occasionally axillary, pendant, dull green or bean portion yellowish red, beans completely constricted and twistingly arranged in an alternating divaricate fashion.
