    Rather undisturbed primary forest some 35 m high, in valley near small streamlet...terrain level. Deep clayey volcanic soil.

  • Description

    Tree 8 m high. Clear bole 4 m long, without buttresses. Outer bark grey-brown, somewhat fissured, not peeling off, 0.2 mm thick. Inner bark 3 mm thick, out ochrish with brownish rays, in cream-coloured, without exudate but old wounds with sticky brownish gum which turns blackish. FI. buds brownish. Old fruits brownish. brownish.
