smooth grey-brown, with longitudinally
arranged lentioeis. Inner bark mottled
yellow-brown, Sapwood yellowish. Iti.
spirally arranged at branch tips, ra-
ther pale green. Frt 1-2 in If. axils,
erect, bright orange when ripe splitting
into 4 parts. Valves 1-2-seeded. Ho
aril but seed eoat bright red, Perioarp
rather soft.
Seed failed to germinate at F.R.I.
