Large quartzite outcrop and talus with sparse Pinus (P. pungens, P. rigida, P. virginiana) and mixed small mixed hardwoods (Acer rubrum, Betula lenta, Sassafras, Quercus rubra) occasional remnant large trees on sheltered outcrops. on vertical rock face.
