Generally, the leaves with their stinging hairs are rubbed onto the body to alleviate ache and pains. 22/12/1994 Perennial shrub, to 2m high. Leaves rugose, dense with long irritant halj’to young ones dense, woolly; toothed margin. Stem densely armed with long rigid, branched, axillary, solitary, male flowers in lower leaf axils, female in upper leaf axils. Male flowers have four stamens. 04388201
