  • Description

    Reclining shrub, on edges of precipitous bluffs along the River; wood whitish rather tough and hard; bark smooth, mottled; the ultimate branches quite numerous, slender, lax half drooping, with yellowish bark; leaves chartaceous, flat, paler green beneath, descending, the veins greenish white; figs solitary or in pairs, smooth, globose, from the leaf axils mainly, lemon yellow the exposed fully mature ones of a glazed pleasing red; "Pili-na-balagon.".
