Habitat: Lowland rain forest.
Tree. Buttresses up to 2\ ft.
high by 2 ft. wide, plank-type, straight;
height 60 feet, bole 30 feet; d.b.h.
10 inches. Bark dark brown, smooth.
Blaze thick red-brown. Wood cream,
oxidising to dull pink. Fruit olive
green, pubescent. Local name Diwanal.
