    Somewhat rolling, probably old dune fields. Somewhat disturbed remnant of tall chaco forest with Phyllostylon, Pterogyne nitens. Soil sandy.

    Shrub 4 m tall, with single stem 5 cm in diameter, much-branched above. Flowers, apparently with slight fragrance (2:00 P.M., sunny); calyx greenish white, swollen; corolla white; anthers dark yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile.
