United States of America. California. Los Angeles Co. Lower Deer Canyon: inside the rather broad mouth of the canyon, ca. 220-380 m north-northwest of its confluence with Elizabeth Lake Canyon.

Habitat
Broad, gravelly dry wash and adjacent old-formation benches. Benches dominated by scrub with scattered sandy openings. With Prunus ilicifolia, Quercus wislizeni, Ceanothus leucodermis, Rhamnus californica, Rh. ilicifolia, Salvia apiana, Rhus trilobata, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Artemisia dracunculus, Sambucus mexicana, Arctostaphylos glauca, Yucca whipplei, etc. Scattered locally.

Description
Suffrutescent perennial; corolla limb bluish-lavender with burgundy-violet lines emanating from the throat. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
