Depto. Santa Cruz: Prov. Andrés Ibanez, near easternmost
antennas in the Tres Cruces area, 11.5 km (by road) east of
turnoff at Bermejo from the Santa Cruz-Samaipata
highway. Semi-deciduot^/orest and edges, on slopes, with
Pachystroma longifolium, Acacia tucumanensis.

Woody vine, the stem mostly 3-lobed. Fruit bright red,
falling, mostly with the seeds gone; seeds covered by white
aril. Leaves into canopy.
