NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN
Secondary (30-40 years old) subtropical
semi-deciduous forest, the trees to 15 m.
tall, dominated by Anadenanthera macrocarpa,
Gallesia integrifolia, Rhamnidium elaeocarpum.
Twining vine; sap milky. Flowers with light
sweet fragrance; corolla pale yellow-green, with
central "horns" purple.
