Habitat
Dry quartzite hillside with disturbed woodland on lower slopes, and scrub above.

Description
Small tree 2-3 m. high, little-branched, or more often a shrub. Pachycaul stems. Flowers in very dense masses. Calyx pale green, yellow tinged. Corolla palest pink or white, with dark lines on upper lip and fainter lines on laterals. Anthers orange. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
