FLORA OF BOLIVIA ASCLEPIADACEAE Asclepias barjoniaefolia Foum. Department of Cochabamba Mallco Rancho (Mallku Chapi), Cuenca Viloma 17 25' 26" S, 66 21' 54.2" W Alt: 2618 m Herbaceous perennial, about 60 cm tall, with abundant latex, fl. yellow, not scented. Prefers sandy soil. Not abundant. River bed with dry seasonlly flooded scrub dominated by Acacia aroma and Prosopis juliflora. Soil with alluvium stones of many colours, probably rich in minerals.
