Bolívar: Altiplanicie of Auyan-tepui, SW sector, 5°48.02'N,
62°33.82'W, ca 1850 m; along small river, headwaters of the Rio
Churún; high tepui scrub and low tepui forest along river and
among sandstone outcrops.
Growing under standstone ledge on hill well above river; long
procumbent rhizomes, with leaves borne in a cluster at the
ascending tips; seen only once.
