Field Char: Climber; spikes leaf-opposed, one per
node; white. Leaves thick herbaceous to
subfleshy, shining medium green both surfaces.
Herbage pleasantly aromatic.
Locality: Morobe Province: ridge south of the
Busu stream bed, Yamandi Brothers logging
track.
Habitat: Mature growth forest selectively
logged in the 1970’s, in densely
shaded understory.
